Nested Refuge

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings, you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.  Psalm 91:4

The photo above was taken by a dear friend of mine and it reminded me of the scripture above, it’s a beautiful picture of how God takes care of us and protects us. I find comfort in the Psalm’s, David while chosen by God still struggled to live the God-filled life he was called to, what promise there is in the verses surrounding this one and the ones that come after it.

We are all humans and have to die daily to our sins, one no greater than the other, while we are still growing daily in our walks with God , he protects us and covers us, life isn’t always an easy walk, probably never an easy walk, but with Gods mercy and grace we like these babay birds have the guidence and safety of our heavenly Father. Like David , even in his wrongs God saw potentional in this future King, David was chosen to be King at a tender age and God saw him through his young years  until he was ready to step into that role.

2)God is always faithful and His protection of us never fails like the eggs , future birds in this nest above God will also cover us and protect us we just need listen to His voice and trust that protection. in verse two it reads ” This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.  3) For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.

Praise God, he loves me and want to protect me, he will also do that for you , first you must invite Him in, accept Him, Believe He is who he says he is and then confess to Him your sins and you will be forgiven. The ABC’s of God. He is already protecting you and is waiting for you to come to Him. I know there were many times before I had a personal relationship with God that he was walking with me, praise God He didn’t give up on me, I too am a lot like David but even in the mist of sin God can take that and use it for His glory, that too is part of His protection, a testament to his grace and loving care of His character.

Gods protection is offered to all of us, have you seen His hand in your life? Have you accepted His protection over your life? Do you walk in a personal relationship with God? Don’t answer these questions on here just ask yourself and then think about your answers.
